Cost of Living in Glasgow

Whilst Glasgow has the second largest student population in the UK it has also been named the world’s 2nd most affordable city by Time Out in 2022.
The cost of living of course can vary greatly from person to person and from website to website. This is due to the fact that people just live differently and really depends at which stage you are in life. The cost of living for a student is much different than a family for example.
For Students
The University of Glasgow estimates that it will cost you £933 - £1,325 per month (£11,200 - £15,900 per year) to live and study in Glasgow.

Again the figures vary but you can expect the cost of living in Glasgow per month to be around £1250 - £1370 per month.
